       Tracy and Cassie are creating this website as a resource for  parents and teachers of children with special needs so that they can be more educated on the different classroom resources that are available.  After a child has been diagnosed with a learning disability the next step is very difficult in deciding which type of school environment is best suited for the child.

      We are both elementary education majors with an endorsement in special education at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana.  This website is being created for our Education 206/207 course, Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities.  Through our clinical placements in local elementary schools we have experienced the many different types of placements that a child with learning disabilities may be placed in and we hope that this website has much insightful information to help you and your child.
